My Take
Arguably the best couch co-op game ever developed, this game was a joy from beginning to end. The stories, the styles, and the constant shift in genres kept the game fresh and entertaining. It wasn’t lopsided, either. There were times when I struggled to get through something, but I was able to eventually figure it out. Then there were times when my partner was struggling, but they were able to figure it out as well. The game does a masterful job of balancing challenge with playability. It’s fun, funny, and gorgeous. But be careful: it will either strengthen your relationship with your gaming partner or possibly ruin it.
