The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild opens with Link waking after a hundred years asleep, Hyrule already lost and Calamity Ganon still barely held. He is the series’ near-silent hero, and the game hands you the whole kingdom almost immediately, with very little instruction about what to do with it.
