The Last of Us is Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic series, set in an America brought down by a fungal infection that hollows people out into the Infected. Ellie is immune to it. In the first game she is a teenager being smuggled across the country by Joel; by the second she is the one you play, driving the story rather than being escorted through it.
