My Take

The original version of this game, released in 2004, has led to an entire genre of games mostly run on mobile devices. It was an absolute life-suck and arguably the worst video game ever created. It required constant vigilance, rewarded deception, forced you to team up with people to take shifts keeping an eye on incoming attacks, had absolutely garbage graphics, cost real money, and was ultimately just an excuse to drain people of money before the entire concept of microtransactions had become a triple-A concept. I have zero fond memories of it. In fact, I have nothing but animosity toward that “game” and every game like it.
