Flight of the Guardians

Prepare to fall out of the sky. The opening cinematic to Halo 5 Guardians is one of the most intense beginnings I’ve seen in video game, and “Flight of the Silverbird” by Two Steps from Hell feels like it was written for it. The slow opening allows for light dialogue to set the stage, then the music builds to match their flight, the battle, and their escape. Out of all the things I’ve edited, this is definitely one of my favorites, and it’s currently my most popular video on YouTube.

“Starchild” by Thomas Bergersen + Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn

I stayed up way too late last night creating this, but it was so epic that I just couldn’t stop myself.

Recipe:
1 Thomas Bergersen’s “Starchild”
1 Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn

Mix all ingredients in a bowl made of adobe, add plenty of herbs, and make sure there’s plenty of heat.

“Final Frontier” by Thomas Bergersen + League of Legends: Shurima

The tragic fall of Shurima was nothing compared to the tragedy of its rise from the grave.

This was my very first mashterpiece, which has been a hobby* of mine for the past few years. At the time, I was just immersed in League of Legends because we were traveling around with Strawburry17 for our series Unlocked. It wasn’t until after I completed this video that I realized this could become a regular thing. I definitely didn’t expect it to grow into a full-blown obsession. (more…)
